A couple good thermals most definitely deserve another! Not only is it thermal season - i.e., that time of the year when cool outdoor and warm office temps mean a thermal polish will show off nicely, but also the instantaneous nail art from the colors changing is pretty ideal when you're too crazy busy to put together something that would take more time.

Crepuscular Awakening was one of Femme Fatale's collaboration shades with Emily de Molly last year, and unlike most box sets where only one catches my eye, I absolutely had to have the whole quad of these. The bottle pic above tells you everything you need to know about Crepuscular Awakening: it's a dusty cadet blue when cool that warms up into a sandy nude, overlaid at all times by an opalescent blue shimmer, and sprinkled with silvery holo microglitters.

Oh, wait, not
everything... turns out that blue shimmer is actually the sort that shifts to lavender. Yes indeedy, my favorite: secret duochrome!

Most thermals that shift between two distinct colors are super dramatic in their shifts, and can pick up some less than pretty colors in between states. Crepuscular's glitter & shimmer overlay, plus the overall muted dusty tone, mean that it's ethereally lovely at all the mid-points in transitioning between temperatures. It's a pretty sensitive thermal, but not at all a dramatic one - when any nail was more than one color at a time, it was more like y to be a gentle gradient than a clearly demarcated funky french tip.

Rating: I'm really on a roll here, but this is another 4 out of 5 star beauty. A nice formula that didn't get all clumpy with the glitters, totally opaque in 2 coats (even for the warm nude color), this would be about perfect for an understated winter look or for a springtime wedding type event.
Where to buy: I don't believe either Femme or EdM's stockists still have any of these collab shades - cruise the destashes & blog sales to grab anything from this LE quad.
