Enchanted Polish Austin Powers

One of the Enchanteds I was able to pick up in my recent destash purchase was the re-release of an old fave, Austin Powers.  I was never able to get a hold of the original or the re-release, so had been pretty happy with the other gold holos in my collection, but when it was available for a reasonable price, well...

Austin Powers is a lovely champagne gold linear holo that's made even more blingy by being packed with translucent copper micro flakies.

The flakes take center stage in low lighting, and then that holo BAM when the sun comes out...

The polish is quite sheer, and needed 3 coats for full opacity.  Every coat went on smooth and even and self-leveled flawlessly, and dried nice & quick.  Some 3-coaters can be real PITA, but this was all good.

The other thing 3-coaters are prone to is chipping quickly, since the total mani ends up rather thick.  NOPE.  This stuff wore like absolute iron, with barely visible edgewear after a solid WEEK.

Of course, it's holiday season, and since I wasn't ready to take this off I just decorated it up with a new layering plate I got during MoYou London's latest sale.

MYL's Noel 18 is layering images of wintertime animals (plus a dolphin?) and a couple of styles of wreaths/greenery starbursts.  It was nicely etched and easy to use, and I loved this look.

Rating: an utterly flawless 5 out of 5 stars, there is nothing to be sad about.  Great formula, great wear time, super sparkle, probably my fave gold holo ever.

Where to buy:  Enchanted has been sadly closed for over a year, so keep an eye out for destashes & blog sales.
