Enchanted Polish Grass Stain

An unfortunate happenstance in any indie polish collector's life is to fall for a limited release years after it's come and gone.  When I saw a pic just a few weeks ago of Cirque Martinique, I absolutely swooned... and promptly started searching for similar (possibly attainable) things.  The day after someone suggested Enchanted Polish Grass Stain, that color was restocked.

I don't usually go for plain crème polishes, the lack of shimmer or sparkle or shift is just not my usual jam.  THIS polish right here makes me understand all my crème queen pals.

Grass Stain is exactly that - an absolutely organic shade of kelly green that leans very slightly toward yellow.  It has the "squish" and glassy shine of a crelly or jelly polish, but it's completely opaque.  Paint careful, because you know a color like this will cling to your cuticles forever, but it's totally worth it.

The formula on this polish is utterly amazing.  I'm wearing only a single thicker coat here, and while some of the macro photos show places where 2 would have been better, this was uniformly opaque to the eye, and I paint under a very bright task lamp.  The polish was very easy to work with, and gave me no problems moving the brush over the same area a few times to make that one coat cover completely.

I've stamped some of the small botanical silhouettes from EDK's Ancient History plate in white - I'm still me, and still can't leave a crème polish completely alone.  This plate was a PPU exclusive, and like other EDK plates I've tried was etched perfectly and had no problems picking up any of the several images I've used.

Rating:  5 out of 5 stars, this polish is approximately perfect.  The formula was great, it's shiny AF even before topcoat, and it wore like iron.  Some of these pics are nearly 7 full days after I painted them, and I have barely any edgewear.  If green is your thing, snap this up without reservations.

Where to buy:  Enchanted Polish has a few stockists overseas, which can occasionally be helpful for finding older colors even if you live in the US.  When in stock, I buy directly from her
