I can't remember what reminded me that it was past time for me to pull out a multichrome, but here's the lovely Tonic The Places You'll Go, part of her "May babies" duo from 2017.

The Places You'll Go appears to be an ILNP Sirene type shifter, tilting from green to blue to turquoise to purple.  In a rather unique twist, this is in an emerald green base rather than a neutral charcoal one.  In direct light, this polish was a gorgeous emerald green that was nearly impossible to catch on camera, since the slightest angle of the light caused the look to quickly shift to turquoise then over to purple.

I'm wearing 3 coats here for total opacity.  Though the 3rd layer made no difference for some nails, it was needed for at least a few to have full color saturation to match the bottle.

I was feeling like a very clean geometric design on top of the fluidly shifting base, so opted for different parts of the same straight arrow with curving teardrops design from MoYou London Minimal 08 using El Corazon white stamping polish.  Foolishly, I went back over the stamp more than once on a couple of nails, and while this white is an A+ stamping polish as far as opacity goes, it will smear if you're not careful.  Oops.

This polish shows pretty vampy in most pics, which I think is partially due to my camera white-balancing on the stamped design.  Though it is a deeply saturated color, it never appeared black, even in low light.

Rating:  4 out of 5 stars for this dark beauty.  The formula was thin and smooth (Tonic used to be known for quite thick formulas, which appears to have changed with some later polishes), dried down mostly shiny, and wore decently well.  I'm a sucker for multichromes, and this one is plenty pretty, and is unique in my stash.

Where to buy:  though not in Tonic's web store at this moment, it's possible that she'll bring this one back in the future, or try her stockists.
