Lacquester's recent custom for one of my FB polish groups reminded me of all the pretty bottles of untried magic from her I have laying around my stash. When
I pulled out OMG recently, I was actually debating between that one and a handful of others, and this one ended up staying on the mani table until I used it.

Dragon Heart Holo is a warm red-leaning orchid purple jelly that is jam-packed with fiery ultrachrome flakes that appear copper in most lighting, a scattered holo effect, and I think some shimmers to bridge any remaining space in between.

The first coat goes on very sheer but quite even - this would work great as a topper, and would look stunning as 1-2 coats over a darker/richer purple. This builds up very nicely, and I'm showing 3 coats here.

In direct sunlight or any bright lighting, the flakies catch the light as a glorious copper orange, and make a gorgeous contrast to the base color. The holo here is more the scattered rainbow dust type than a bold linear flame. Both the flakes and the holo dust spread out evenly, with no clumping up at either end of the nail.

In bright lighting at certain angles, some element of this polish would reflect a bright fuchsia pink flash...I'm still undecided if that's an effect of the UC flakies or a shimmer element in here, but either way it's yet another pretty face to this complex beauty.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars for this flashy Dragon. Despite being a jelly base, this wore nicely on me, with only minimal edgewear after a few days.
Where to buy:
direct from Lacquester, or her
international stockist at Color 4 Nails. Note that the sales pics show this as a significantly darker and more blue purple, while these pics are color accurate to what this looked like IRL for me. I don't believe mine has faded, since the swatch stick I made when I received this bottle is the same color as both my nails and the bottle itself.
